Posted May 08, 2019 06:02:24Apple’s new 4K baby monitor is set to go on sale in Australia on Thursday.
It’s expected to cost $799.99, or AU$1,799, for a 27-inch display and will come with an 18-month warranty.
It also has an integrated 2,560×1,440 resolution OLED panel.
In a statement, Apple said it is offering the monitor at “the lowest price of the generation” and the first time in the company’s history that it will offer an 18 month warranty for a new product.
Apple is also introducing an AppleCare warranty to help customers understand the warranty, and AppleCare Gold plans will be available.
AppleCare will cover “the purchase of any new or replacement product purchased by customers, including any accessory purchased with a new or existing AppleCare product” and will be offered on the monitor.
The monitor will also come with AppleCare, the company said.
Apple has already been promoting the new product on its website, in the AppleCare app, and on its new iPhone app.
AppleCare is the company-wide version of AppleCare for the iPhone, and is available to all customers.
Apple said it has “made significant improvements to the device” and that its product lineup has been “tougher and more robust” since it was introduced in September 2018.
The company also said that it has made “significant improvements to its warranty service” and promised a better user experience for customers with issues.
The new monitor is part of a wider update to Apple’s products, which includes the iPhone X and Apple Watch Series 3.
The device will go on show at Apple’s WWDC 2018 event on April 14.
Apple’s products are now available in Australia and New Zealand.
