New US residents may soon be able to buy an iPhone 8, but they will need to use a Samsung monitor to do so.
A new Samsung-branded gadget called the Samsung SmartMonitor Mount has been spotted on US store shelves, with prices starting at $299.
But it’s not the only Samsung device the US will soon be using.

They are designed to monitor the health of a person’s hands and wrist, and are currently used by some US airports and some major retailers, but Samsung is currently working on a new device that is expected to be released this year.
The Samsung Smart Monitor Mount can be used with the Galaxy S8 smartphone, Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus smartphone and Samsung Galaxy 10 smartphone, according to Samsung.
It also works with the Samsung S8+, S8, S8 Plus and Galaxy 10 Plus.
The SmartMonitorMount is available to pre-order for US$349.99 and can be purchased online.
Samsung has yet to make a definitive announcement on when it plans to make the Samsung-designed device available to US consumers, but the Samsung device has been available for pre-orders on Amazon for a while.
